Thermocoagulation

Non-invasive, energy-based, Skin Tag treatment in Chilliwack.

DO YOu have

skin tags, milia, moles, cholesterol deposits or bumps on your skin?

We can help with those.

Thermocoagulation is a highly effective treatment method that employs controlled heat to safely and efficiently eliminate skin imperfections such as skin tags and moles. This technique utilizes a thin needle through which an electric current is passed, generating precise heat that coagulates and destroys the targeted tissue while preserving the integrity of the surrounding skin. Patients can anticipate minimal discomfort and quicker recovery times.

What to Expect

The thermocoagulation device will create a small dark spot on the skin, that we call a lesion.  You might see a “brown spot” that was created with the device.   This “brown spot” is perfectly normal and will slough off in a few days, revealing a slightly pink spot.  That the pink spot is going to be a little sensitive, but will heal to normal skin color with time.

about Thermocoagulation

please note

Moles are skin growths made up of cells that produce colour (pigment). A mole can appear anywhere on the skin, alone or in groups. Most people get a few moles during their first 20 years of life. They are usually brown in colour but can be blue, black, or flesh-coloured. Most moles are harmless and do not cause pain or other symptoms, unless you rub them or they bump against something.

Some moles can turn into cancer. Talk to your doctor if a mole bleeds, itches, burns, or changes size or colour. Please consult with a doctor before coming to have yours removed to ensure that it is safe to remove them
